Megan Welsh

Megan E. Welsh (she/her) is an Associate Professor and the Interdisciplinary Arts & Humanities Librarian at the University of Colorado (CU) Boulder in Boulder, CO. Megan is passionate about supporting library school students (LIS) students on their educational and professional journeys. She has coordinated the Ask a Librarian Apprenticeship Program from 2018 through 2024 where she has supervised LIS students as they gained practical experience in an academic library setting and mentored them through the academic library job search process. Her recent research interests focus on inclusive hiring practices, crafting compelling applications and navigating the job search, and pay transparency in library settings. Megan received her MLIS from the University of Denver.
